On November 19–20, 2025, the WECHULL+ consortium gathered for two productive days hosted by Pekabex in Gdańsk. The meeting focused on advancing our mission:“Sustainable Concrete Material Leading to Improved Substructures for Offshore Renewable Energy Technologies.”
✅ Highlights from the meeting:
Technical sessions on material development, structural optimization, prototype validation, and Impact Assessment.
Strategic discussions on future testing plans to validate innovative concrete-based solutions for wave energy converters, and risk mitigation.
🏭 We also had the opportunity to visit Pekabex’s production facilities, at Budowlanych and Geodetow, gaining valuable insights into large-scale precast concrete manufacturing.
